Root canal (endodontic) treatment is a procedure in which we treat the inside of the tooth – where its "nerve" is located.
This treatment is necessary when a deep infection or inflammation has developed in the tooth, or when the root is irreversibly damaged by decay, trauma or repeated procedures.

What are the most common symptoms of infection in the tooth's canals?

Severe, prolonged pain, especially under pressure or heat.
Swelling of the gum or the presence of a fistula.
Trauma that has damaged the pulp.

What does root canal treatment involve?

The goal of root canal treatment is to remove the infection, clean and fill the tooth's canals, and seal them hermetically.
We perform it using modern techniques, under magnification and with digital control – for maximum precision and an excellent final result.

The process in three steps

1. Diagnosis and planning

We start with a digital X-ray to pinpoint the exact location of the problem and the extent of damage to the root. We always focus on the options for saving the tooth and draw up a treatment plan.

2. Precise disinfection

Using a rubber dam (rubber sheet), we isolate the tooth and provide a sterile, dry environment for carrying out the treatment.
We clean the root canals precisely under a microscope and with exceptionally accurate instruments.

3. Filling and restoration

After careful cleaning and shaping, the canals are sealed hermetically with a biocompatible material.
Finally, the tooth is restored – depending on the case, with a photopolymer filling or a ceramic restoration.
