A broken little tooth is no longer something you have to just live with

Bobi is a sunny 9-year-old boy who definitely can’t sit still. While riding his bike in the park, Bozhidar fell and broke his front tooth.

That same day his mother took him to a dentist, but the result of the repair definitely wasn’t very aesthetic. Bobi’s mother knew that even at nine, this trauma could plant a fear of smiling in him. She wanted little Bobi to laugh and have fun like before, so she came to me for help.

The first thing I did during the exam was make sure the trauma hadn’t killed the front incisors. Luckily they responded normally to the tests, so all I needed was to take an impression of Bobi’s teeth and a few photos to determine the right color and shape for him.

I prepared the digital design of the broken incisors, and at the next visit it was time to act. I gave Bobi anesthesia so he wouldn’t feel any pain, and I got to work. I bonded his two front teeth with composite, matching the shape and color of his natural teeth as closely as possible.

Bobi and his parents were extremely happy with the result.
