Mariana

Mariana came to us about a year ago. Some time before, in an attempt to achieve the smile she dreamed of, she had made the rash decision to have all her teeth ground down, devitalized and restored with crowns – without addressing an underlying problem she had with gum inflammation and loose teeth.
Over time her problems grew more and more serious – severe tooth mobility, pain and total discomfort set in.
Mariana came to us with a clear goal – to put an end to the worsening problems and start fresh on the path to the smile she dreamed of.
We created an individual treatment plan based on digital diagnostics and 3D tomography. Unfortunately, the aggressive approach of her initial treatment and the ill-fitting restorations had led to even more serious gum inflammation and even bone loss.
We faced the important task of rebuilding the lost bone and so laying a stable foundation for the implants, which we placed a few months later.
We worked in stages, with attention to the tissues and the harmony of her smile. Forming new, healthier and more stable bone is a process that takes patience – between 3 and 6 months. But it is the basis for a treatment result that lasts over time.
Today Mariana already smiles with ease. She still has temporary teeth that give her confidence and comfort in everyday life. They are the prototype of the final result, which we will achieve within a few months with ceramic crowns on implants.
The final phase of the treatment is still ahead, and Mariana can’t wait to see the final result.
