Kalin knew he deserved more
Kalin is one of those people who, at first glance, command your respect and put you at ease at the same time. He has a great sense of humor and knows how to make everyone around him smile. But he himself wasn’t happy with his old metal-ceramic crowns, and he was looking for a long-term solution.
The treatment we planned for him was complex and took about half a year. To begin with, our implant surgeon removed the teeth with a poor prognosis, which were badly weakened by the deep grinding done beneath the metal-ceramic. In their place he set titanium dental implants, which within a few months became an integral part of the bone.
Right after the surgery Kalin left with temporary teeth that matched the shape and color of the previously approved model. The months we spent waiting for the implants to osseointegrate were enough for Kalin to be sure that the shape and color we had chosen suited his face. The many compliments he received from friends and acquaintances during this time completely confirmed the decision :)
Once we were sure the implants were ready to take on the load of the bridge over them, all that was left was to fix it in place. Before Kalin left the clinic smiling and satisfied, I explained how to properly clean the bridge and the implants so the result would last, and of course we scheduled a check-up for a month later.
