If an edge of a ceramic veneer chips off, it can easily be replaced without requiring the replacement of all the other restorations.

If I put ceramic veneers only on my upper teeth, won't my lower teeth look different in color?

This is certainly a question that will need to be discussed with your dentist during the assessment and design planning of your new smile. If the lower teeth don't need substantial correction and your bite is correct, you could choose to place veneers only on the upper jaw.

In such situations, I often plan a few whitening procedures on the lower teeth for my patients, so that the color difference between the upper and lower jaw, if it exists at all, is completely insignificant.

Do porcelain veneers stain from drinks like tea, coffee or red wine?
